yang lebih penting dari magnet,watt dan diameter adalah SPL dan frekuensi rangenya...

BLACK WIDOW SUPER STRUCTURE

The Black Widow/Super Structure still remains far ahead of any of its competitors due to its performance and unique design. These state-of the-art speakers feature Kevlar impregnated cones and a high efficiency magnet structure to provide outstanding sensitivity, reliability, and performance. The Kevlar impregnated cone is stiffer than an equivalent weight paper cone, reducing the tendency of the cone to distort the shape of the voice coil, thus avoiding rubs and scrapes. Superior power handling results from the increased stiffness, especially with large cone excursions. This cone also offers lower distortion than a paper cone due to a greater dampening of unwanted cone vibrations. The piston action of the Kevlar impregnated cone is extended to a higher frequency, while the range above is better controlled, with a reduction in vibrational break-up.

In Black Widow models 1203 and 1501DT, where the properties of a Kevlar impregnated cone might not be desirable, such as speakers designed for guitar use, a specially formulated paper cone (along with other Peavey engineered factors) is utilized to promote that distinctive tone.

The magnet structure features a patented Peavey technology: a one piece die-cast back plate/pole piece assembly. This construction eliminates an undesirable "air gap" in the magnet circuit, enhancing efficiency and reliability.

Another Peavey original is the design of the speaker framework. In the unlikely event of the failure of a Black Widow loudspeaker, the cone/basket assembly is field replaceable with a factory assembled and tested replacement basket assembly. Instead of being forced to obtain a whole new speaker, only a new basket assembly is required. Lightweight and relatively inexpensive, the replaceable basket assembly offers an easy solution to spares and repairs.

Along with these state-of-the-art aspects, Black Widow speakers also provide the features expected in a professional application loudspeaker: a four inch edgewound aluminum ribbon voice coil wound on a Kapton(TM) former for high efficiency and sensitivity; a die-cast aluminum alloy frame for exacting lifelong alignment of the assembly; an extra large vent in the magnet structure for superior cooling and linearity at high drive levels; and heavy-duty spring loaded terminals adhering to industry standards for color coding.

sebenarnya pakai speaker lokal yang SPLnya diatas 100dB sudah cukup kok

hm... gitu ya pak,,
kayake kalo di liat dari keterangan yang bhs inggris itu, suara bisa jauh melesat..,

trus kira2 untuk speaker lokal pake apa ya..?!

Kalau boleh kasih saran untuk speaker merk tanah air tapi kualitas sudah terkenal di dunia, ya produk dari sinar baja electronic surabaya pak.

benar sekali pak indra ,dulu saya punya 12 ACR 1238 enteng sekali untuk powernya eh begitu saya pasang 12 ACR 1240 wei mulai deh kipas power anget2 kuku......

wah ga tahu yah belum lihat, saya kurang begitu interest dengan line array

gimana mau menarik, harga tiang untuk speakernya saja 170 jt, itupun 2nd

tp saya malah lebih suka suara 1238 oks banget vocalnya muantab...... :bravo:

iya, sebenarnya 1238 itu lebih baik dari 1240 yah cuma tertipu sama magnet kecil jadi kurang laku padahal yang lebih bagus itu adalah yang lebih murah haaa...

@Pademo : Sy pengguna Black Widow, tapi memang udah bawaan Speaker Peavey SP2G. Memang mahal mas, kalau masih 'rada' orisinil 15" nya sekarang di Medan Rp.2,1 jt perbuah, yg made in China Rp. 1,6. Bedanya yg sangat kelihatan adalah di material konus. Dan (sy nggak tahu merk lainnya), Peavey juga menjual lepas antara magnet dan konusnya, jadi speaker black widow lama bisa kita rekondisi.

wih bisa rekondisi, pasang VC dan magnetnya gimana tuh yah ?

ACR juga ada recone kitnya, tapi hanya untuk produk ACR Exellent dan ACR Premiere saja...

Emang dijual lepas mas... istilahnya magnet dan basket (conus+steel supportnya). Cuma buka baut di magnet, konus baru dipasang (kalau beli basket, seperti speaker tanpa magnet).
